- Supporting the Catholic educational mission of the school, upholding school policies.
- Using a virtue-based approach in developing positive, appropriate relationships with students that foster Christian discipleship and a classroom environment conducive to growth and learning.
- Establishing and maintaining a positive homeroom environment.
- Preparing and delivering sound instruction to advance students towards content mastery.
- Effectively assessing student learning and performance.
- Providing attentive supervision of students.
- Taking responsibility for planning and assisting with some school activity/activities.
- Collaborating positively and supportively with school administration, faculty, staff, and parents to maximize students' spiritual, intellectual, social and physical formation.
- Responsibly complying with deadlines and expectations as communicated by the administration.
- Attending faculty meetings, professional development training, and other school events as required.
- Planning of grade’s Mass as assigned throughout the year.
- Help with Graduation & Confirmation (planning & rehearsal).

- Bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience teaching Middle School is preferred.
- State of Michigan teaching certification and Mathematics certification.
- An openness to and/or ability to teach another subject is preferable (Potential Social studies and/or religion).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and classroom management skill.
- Knowledge and implementation of good instructional practices.
- A mastery of content and a joy in teaching and interacting with young people.
- Protecting God's Children certification and passed background check.
- Catechist certified.
- Knowledge and use of SMART technology.
